Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer | Danny & Christina

I remember when I received the wedding inquiry from Christina and thinking to myself that I don’t even know this young lady but I think I would really like her!!  Sure enough I do really like her!!!!!!  🙂 🙂  After a few emails back and forth it was official I would be photographing her & Danny’s wedding day at The Orchard at Caney Creek, in Wharton, TX.  This would in a lot of ways be a destination wedding because both Christina & Danny’s immediate families reside closer to Dallas and not in the Houston area… BUT both of their families have very close ties to Wharton/still live there so it was the perfect location for them to say “I DO”.  When they were still working out all the details for their wedding day and they knew they would be making a trip to the Houston area to work on EVERYTHING wedding related Christina asked if I’d be willing to meet them as they cake tested.  Well my sweet tooth & I completely jumped at the chance  to not only meet this sweet couple & get to know them…  but to also indulge in cake!!!  It was so much fun getting to sit across from the two of them and watch them interact & talk about their wedding day & their future & just their story!!!  Let me just say…. they have the sweetest love story & seriously are so perfect for one another and it was such a joy to be part of their wedding day!!

Christina & Danny tied the knot on June 7, 2014 at The Orchard at Caney Creek.  Y’all… it was such an amazing day!! It was a tad warm but it was beautiful!!  I kept thinking to myself the whole time I was there just how awesome this venue was and how perfect it was for the two of them!!  Loved, loved, loved everything about their wedding day!!!  I’m going to go ahead and warn you… this is one of two big blog posts because I just couldn’t narrow down the images from their day!!!  Hope you enjoy and be sure to check back at the end of the week when I post more of their wedding day images!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
