Spartanburg, SC Photographer | 1 Year Old!!

It is always a lot of fun to have a one year old in front of my camera.  There’s just something about turning one that’s so exciting.  Before I became a mom I probably wasn’t as excited about that age but now I LOVE it!!  I love getting to hear about the child’s habits, favorite books, personality and everything else that comes along with being one (and to hear the differences between girls and boys… I am so used to everything girl that it’s a lot of fun to hear all about the boys out there!!)!! I love seeing the interaction that parents have with this little one year old that still wants to be loved on and held and snuggled.  I love knowing that they may still have lots of “firsts” ahead of them.  One year is so much fun!!!!   Ohh how I love photographing a one year old!!!  Sometimes they are walkers, sometimes they aren’t… sometimes they are in the best of moods, and sometimes they aren’t… sometimes they are shy… and sometimes they want to be my best friend!!  On this particular warm, June evening little miss “P”…  who was just a tad over 1 year old had just recently become a walker and was in the best of moods!!!  I LOVED LOVED LOVED photographing this little girl and capturing all her cute little faces :)!!!!  I think she wanted to be my BFF by the end of it :)!!!  She was a tad shy but get her parents dancing and being goofy behind me and she was all smiles and giggles!!!  Miss P was a total joy to be around and photograph!!  I had a lot of fun with her and her parents and I am so glad I was able to document this time in their lives.

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
