The day after I took Nathalie’s maternity photos I received an email that she thought in the next few hours they’d be welcoming baby #2 into the world.. sure enough, their little BOY arrived!!! Baby “A” made his debut a little early but he was safe & healthy!! Nathalie contacted me and that Saturday I headed over to their house for a newborn session. It was so much fun hanging out with their family two Saturday’s in a row and such an honor to meet & photograph their littlest!!! Miss “E” came down with something and after being amazing and taking a few family photos she passed out for the remainder of the session :(. I will say though that she is one proud big sis and loves her little brother a whole lot!!!!!!! I spent most of the session with Nathalie & Alex loving on their little boy & I just stepped back and documented it all. I love that my newborn sessions are just me coming into the families home and stepping back and photographing this love that the new parents have for this new baby. I love being able to photograph a swaddled baby on a ginormous bed and capturing how small they are… I love everything about the way a growing family interacts and loves and that I am lucky enough to just sit back and document it all!!! Nathalie & Alex, thank you for wanting me to photograph & document your family memories for y’all!!! I have loved getting to know all four of you & can’t wait to watch your sweet family grow up & know y’all better!!! Thank you for two fabulous Saturday mornings 🙂 that felt more like we were just hanging out than taking photos (y’all may feel differently since y’all were the ones in front of the camera 😉 )!!! Here are a few (and I say that jokingly because I know there are more than a few images… but I seriously couldn’t narrow them down any further!!)…
