I met Summer when I used to work at a church. She arrived on campus about the time I was pregnant, so because of being gone on maternity leave and then after coming back for only a number of weeks I never had a huge chance to get to know her very well… but what I did know about her I loved and always wished I’d gotten to know her better!! Needless to say when she contacted me to see if I could do a last minute “Christmas Card” session for her and Andy I was super excited. I would finally get a chance to know her a little better :)!! The two of them met me near my home and headed into the woods that our neighborhood backs up to (Summer wanted images in the woods, and thankfully I just happened to remember the woods near us!!) IT WAS FREEZING (and I don’t mean that figuratively)… it seriously was freezing… I’m soooo impressed by these two & their willingness to just brave the cold to “get the photo” :)!!! Had a REALLY fun session and can’t wait to hopefully actually hang out with the two of them one day!!! Here’s a few images from their VERY COLD session :).
