Family photos | Spartanburg, SC Family Photographer

Tanya contacted me probably sometime last summer excited that all four of her boys were going to be home over Christmas and wanted to know if we could do a family session, of course I said YES!!  I hadn’t ever met her & Jeff’s oldest son but I’ve known the younger three for a good number of years and watched them grow up (if that’s what you want to call it)… I can definitely say that for Matt because he was either in middle school or starting high school when I first met him and now he is beyond high school!! This family means a lot to me and it’s been fun getting to know them over the years… from having the younger two in youth group, to backpacking in Oklahoma (from crossing rivers, to seeing a bear… to having Jeff and one of the sons (Austin) awesomely help me out that trip when my knee decided it wanted to die on me, to blisters that Jeff so graciously mended, to fun talks at the campfires, to racoons ransacking our groups camp), to celebrating Jeff getting his masters, photographing two of the boys senior photos, to them being some of the first to meet our sweet little one, to just the amazing friends Jeff & Tanya, and the boys are to us… this family has a huge place in our family’s heart!!!  So it was my privilege to photograph the 6 of them over Christmas time!!  We met in downtown, Richmond, TX for the session.  They had me laughing the entire time… I don’t know about them, but I sure did have a fun evening!!!!  Tanya & Jeff, thank you sooo sooo soo very much for your friendship, support, love, and prayers…. Thank you also for wanting me to photograph your family, I loved it!!!!!  Here’s a few images from their session!!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
