The day we met for photos it was a hot/humid/muggy November evening… I don’t know what was up with our weather this fall but it would go from freezing to hot in a day (it’s doing it again this week!!!), it was a BEAUTIFUL day just not a day for us curly head ladies!! There I go rambling:)!!! back to the session :)… I met Nathalie, Alex, and sweet miss E at a park in Richmond on a beautiful Sunday evening!!!  As we started chatting Nathalie mentioned that miss E hadn’t been feeling well, but was hoping she’d be good for the shoot.  We walked over to where I wanted to start and even though I’d never met miss E before I knew within a few minutes that she probably wasn’t feeling good at all, I snapped a few images of the three of them but made the decision to let miss get to feeling better and try it again another day.  I thought the images from the day Miss E was under the weather were still super cute so I wanted to include them below!!  We met up again the day before Thanksgiving…  This go round, it WAS FREEZING, but it was still absolutely beautiful!!!!!!  Nathalie, Alex, and little miss E were troopers!!!!  I don’t know if miss E is too fond of the camera ;), or maybe it’s me, but I captured so many images from this session that I LOVE SOOO MUCH!!!!  LOVED meeting these three and can’t wait for Miss E & Kenzie to have some play dates!!! 🙂 Nathalie & Alex, THANK Y’ALL sooo much for wanting me to document your sweet little family, had so much fun with y’all!!

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
