Kreigh’s senior session & a few as a family | Greenville Senior Photographer

Katy, TX - HS Senior Photographer - Kendra Martin Photography

I always love when clients decide to use me again, and it’s even more fun for me to catch up with them!!  Right before we left for a little vacation in Tennessee and for my sisters wedding in North Carolina a few weeks ago I met up with Kreigh and his mom, dad, and sister.  I photographed Becca’s senior photos a few years ago and had met Sara & Robin, but had never met Kreigh until that Friday evening.  Let me start off by saying… I butchered his name.  Thankfully they told me to pronounce it like you would tree… except not with the t.  So now every time I think about him that’s the first thing that comes to my mind!! 🙂 But hey, I won’t ever forget how to say it :)!!!

Kreigh, is such a gentlemen, very nice, and really funny!!  He was up for whatever and I loved watching him interact with his older sister and his parents.  This family LOVES each other so much and it’s evident in everything they do and say to one another.  Kreigh is a senior at Seven Lakes and just a few weeks before our photos had made it to the state championship for wrestling.  It was fun to chat wrestling with him!! That may sound odd, but it’s not!! Gary wrestled all four years in high school and a little in college, so I have been around A LOT  of wrestling due that… so that was fun to talk wrestling with Kreigh and especially to hear the difference that 10 years does to a high school sport!!

I loved catching up with Becca, Sara, & Robin.  For me it was picking up where we left off at Becca’s session 2 years ago!!  Sara & Robin, thank you so much for wanting me to not only take Kreigh’s senior photos, but to also snap a few family shots as well.  I loved spending the evening with you four!!!  Here’s a few photos from the session…

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

I grew up in a house full of photos. My dad or I when I was old enough, was always behind a camera…family dinners, road trips, Sunday afternoons that probably didn’t seem worth documenting but somehow always were. That’s where I fell in love with this work. And somewhere along the way, I also learned […]

Meredith and J.G. invited their family and friends to the Piermont Cottage, which is part of Old Edwards Inn for brunch and farewells the morning after their wedding day.
The morning was full stories that were filled with laughter and joy!! It was the perfect way to end an amazing weekend. Venue  | The Farm […]

Meredith and John Grady were married on a beautiful, Friday afternoon in July in Highlands, North Carolina. Meredith began her day at the Farm at Old Edwards Inn, surrounded by so many incredible women in her life. The morning was full of joy, love, and an abundance of happy tears. After Meredith slipped into her […]
