Yes, I totally realize I went on picture overload for these two blogs… but can you blame me? It’s my little sister’s wedding photos!!! The following images are some from their ceremony and then their reception!! I hope you enjoy!!
I have a lot of people say that the first look ruins the whole seeing the bride walk down the aisle thing… In all the weddings that I’ve done it’s never been the case and this wedding was no different. David was beaming ear to ear as if it was the first time he’d seen his bride… I don’t think he’ll admit it but I really do think he might have teared up a little (I spotted it while editing)!!! LOVE YOU DAVID!!!
I think Cara & my dad totally played around with what to say when my dad said “who gives this woman to be married to this man” part of the ceremony since obviously my dad was officiating the ceremony. Turn out Cara somehow talked my mom into saying “her sexy father and I do” . I have no idea how Cara got my mother to say that in front of all these people but it was funny and I was so glad I was in front of them to catch the expressions. I really think Cara might have been surprised that mom actually said it!!
I love when I just happen to keep my eyes open during a prayer just in case the bride or groom does something while nobody is watching because I get images like the one below on the left. David lifted Cara’s hand and gently kissed it. I think when he did that he totally won me over!!! Cara he’s definitely a keeper ;)!!
As hard as I tried I couldn’t get my sister to do a first dance. This girl that used to love to be the center of attention now totally hates it (go figure!!). But what she didn’t know is that David had a flash mob with some of the wedding guests planned and ready to surprise her during the reception. Out of nowhere David busted out into a flashmob love song lip sync…
I think she thinks the embarassment is over at this point!! LOL, not quite!! David planned a second song with even more guests… He and her best friend Abbey took lead. Ohh and be sure to spot our crazy dad who jumped at the end with his AWESOME dance moves!!!
Thank you David for the fun entertainment!!
I think Cara realized after a few steps out the door that bird seed may not have been the smartest option!! She was getting pelted and David kept trying to catch it in his mouth!! They made me laugh!!! 🙂
I had gone down to take a few last photos of Cara & David leaving in their car when I turned around to see everyone waving… of course I had to capture this!!! Love it!!
Funny story about these next few images. The presents were supposed to end up in the car, well they didn’t so about 40 minutes after they left Cara and David showed back up and of course we grabbed a few more photos!! 🙂
Cara & David, I loved photographing your wedding day. I love you two very much and I am so very happy that God put you in each others lives. Cara, I am so proud of the woman you are!! I can’t wait to watch you be a wife!! David, you are a perfect fit to our family and I am so glad to have you as a “brother”. Now, can y’all please move to Texas ;)!!!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this day the incredible day it was. I have no idea everything that had to be done, but thank you to all of you that made it all happen!!
