family photos… {Katy, TX – Family Photographer}

I love getting to watch families and little ones grow.  A little over 2 years ago I received an email from Jacob saying that he and his wife Hillary had just had their baby girl and they wanted me to take her newborn photos.  Fast forward 2 years… I have captured this sweet girl a number of times and now my own little one gets to be loved on by this family while I work during the week.  These three are all very special to me and I can’t thank them enough for trusting me over and over again to capture their family.  A few weeks ago we met in downtown Richmond and took their family photos.  Thank y’all sooo sooo soo much for wanting me to take your family photos again.  I love getting to know you three a little more each time we hang out!!!  Happy 2nd Birthday miss Elizabeth!!!  🙂

When someone says “we’re really drawn to candid wedding photos,” I know exactly what they mean, but I also know it means something different to every couple. And honestly? That’s part of what I love about it. Because candid doesn’t mean chaotic, and it definitely doesn’t mean careless.  Candid means intentional presence. It means pausing […]

I took a trip to Knoxville, TN to document Sarah & Andy’s engagement session.  They wanted to do their session where they will be getting married in 2026 and it was the best decision ever!  Not only did I get to meet and hang out with Sarah & Andy, but I also was able to […]
