Julie & Jon tie the knot… part i… {Houston, TX – Wedding Photographer}

Julie & Jon tied the knot a few Saturday’s ago here in Houston and I am so honored that they wanted me to capture their special day.  I first met these two at their engagement session last August and knew after spending just a little time with them that we’d all get along really well!!  When Julie contacted me and told me that they wanted me to shoot their wedding I was so excited… mainly b/c I loved spending time with them but also excited because it meant they trusted me and wanted me to be the one to capture their special day.  Well their special day was gorgeous… Julie did such an amazing job on the details… the flowers, her gown, her shoes, etc… everything was so beautiful and everything felt so much like “them”.  Julie & Jon are awesome together and I love being around them and the love that they have for one another!!  Julie & Jon, Thank you so much for wanting me to be the one to spend your wedding day with you guys and getting to capture your special moments for you.  I loved spending time with you two and your friends & family!!  Here’s a few photos from the first part of Julie & Jon’s wedding day…

When someone says “we’re really drawn to candid wedding photos,” I know exactly what they mean, but I also know it means something different to every couple. And honestly? That’s part of what I love about it. Because candid doesn’t mean chaotic, and it definitely doesn’t mean careless.  Candid means intentional presence. It means pausing […]
