Gabrielle’s senior session… {Katy, TX – Senior Portrait Photographer}

I can’t even begin to explain how much I loved this session.  Gabrielle and her parents met me where we were shooting her session and she immediately ran over to me and gave me a great big hug and we just started chatting.  One of the first things I asked her was “what do you want to do” and she replied “change the world!!”  After only spending 2 hours with her… I know that Gabrielle will definitely do something to change the world… She  is heading to LSU in the fall (thankfully she didn’t take me being a Gator fan against me), after which she’s planning on going into the Peace Corps, and then I’m sure she’ll land somewhere where she’ll help others and give so much of herself in what she does, because that’s the type of person she is.  Gabrielle has such an amazing spirit, she has a huge heart, she is funny, so incredibly polite, a joy to be around, adores her family, made me laugh so much during our session, she wants to help anyone she can, and will totally one day help change the world.  Gabrielle, thank you for inspiring me to dream big and take chances.  Thank you for a fabulous evening with you and your parents, I had a blast!!!  Here’s a few shots from the session…

I was standing on a porch in Highlands last fall, watching the fog roll down over the mountains while a bride got her veil pinned in by her mom. Nobody was rushing. There was coffee going cold on a side table and somebody’s grandfather telling a story in the next room. And I remember thinking: […]

Anna & Ramsey reached out a few months prior to their wedding day to see if I was available for their intimate wedding day in Highlands, NC at Old Edwards Inn. I was over the moon that I was available and that it would be the wedding that my 2025 wedding season ended with. The […]
