Senior Portraits

Erika & Kristen senior session, part ii… {Katy, TX – Senior Portrait Photographer}

So if you’ve been following my blog this spring you will recognize these two ladies…  I was fortunate enough to hang out with them back in February for their first session and then just a few weeks ago we got to hang out again for their last senior portrait session.  I don’t know how else to say it… but I absolutely adore these two girls.  Together they mesh so well and balance each other out, and apart they are their own unique and beautiful individuals.  I have LOVED hanging out with Kristen & Erika… they are a blast to be around, made me laugh to the point where I couldn’t keep my camera still, they are genuine, fun, loving and have made me now feel like family.  You two ladies are amazing and I love that I can call you two friends!!!  Thank you guys so much for choosing me to be the one to photograph you two… not just once, but twice.  🙂 now we just need to actually set a date to go get ice cream!!!

Sooo because I have way too many favorites from this session and there are two of them, I’m going to post photos of them together in this blog and over the next week or so I’ll put up their individual blogs!!  I hope you enjoy… here’s a few photos of the two of them from our session…

After photographing dozens of weddings in this beautiful city, I’ve learned which months give you that dreamy, effortless light and which ones require some serious strategy […]

When someone says “we’re really drawn to candid wedding photos,” I know exactly what they mean, but I also know it means something different to every couple. And honestly? That’s part of what I love about it. Because candid doesn’t mean chaotic, and it definitely doesn’t mean careless.  Candid means intentional presence. It means pausing […]

I took a trip to Knoxville, TN to document Sarah & Andy’s engagement session.  They wanted to do their session where they will be getting married in 2026 and it was the best decision ever!  Not only did I get to meet and hang out with Sarah & Andy, but I also was able to […]
