:) everyone is home… (Houston, TX, Family Photographer)

Back in June I posted a blog about my good friend Meagan and Matt and their twins that had just arrived.  Ryan was able to come home with Meagan but little Quinn had quite the stint in the nicu, but she finally made her homecoming in late July.  So we were able to then take their “newborn” photos.  All I have to say is that these two have quite the personalities (and each one is completely different than the other) and they are absolutely adorable and I fall so much more in love with them every time I get to see them.  Over the next few weeks I’ll post separate blogs on Ryan and Quinn so stay tuned.

The morning I headed over to do the shoot was such a good morning, Quinn wasn’t really fond of the camera but Ryan seems to not mind a bit, mom and dad were great in front of the camera too!!!  Because we didn’t get to do the session during the first week of their lives we weren’t able to get the sleepy baby photos, but I think we were able to capture their personalities b/c of their age and I LOVE IT!!!  Matt and Meagan, thank you so much for letting me be part of your lives and Ryan and Quinn’s lives, I love all four of you so much and am so thankful that God placed you in my life.  Thank you for letting me be the one to capture this special time in your lives, it means a lot to me.  I can’t wait to see these two grow up.  Here’s a few shots from the session…

When couples ask me about Charleston wedding season, I always start with the same honest truth: Charleston is gorgeous year-round, but timing makes all the difference for your photos. After photographing dozens of weddings in this beautiful city, I’ve learned which months give you that dreamy, effortless light and which ones require some serious strategy […]
