Senior Portraits

Anne’s Senior Portraits…

There’s just something about being a senior that makes them light up in front of a camera… maybe it’s the fact that they only have a few weeks till they graduate, that they are going to college in the fall, the upcoming trip they’ll take days or weeks with their closest friends after they walk across that stage, or maybe, they are just having a great day… I’m not sure what it is, but I LOVE IT!!  I never know how a shoot will turn out, but I always love sitting in front of my computer and seeing the outcome of each session.  I love seeing the smiles, the laughs, the maturity (the attempt at being serious), the honesty and at the same time that child like wonder and genuine feelings that come through in the pictures (especially in senior pictures).  That’s how I felt with Anne’s pictures… she was being her (true and genuine) and it shows!!  We (Anne, her mom, and I) had a lot of fun last weekend during Anne’s shoot.  I had only met Anne once and it was a very brief introduction so I was very excited to get to get to know her better during the session.  Anne is an amazing young lady… she loves life, she’s who she is and it’s awesome!!  Anne, I’m so glad I finally got to know you and not just hear about you!!  Good luck with school in the fall and thank you so much for letting me capture you with my lens.

Here’s a few shots from our session…

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

When someone says “we’re really drawn to candid wedding photos,” I know exactly what they mean, but I also know it means something different to every couple. And honestly? That’s part of what I love about it. Because candid doesn’t mean chaotic, and it definitely doesn’t mean careless.  Candid means intentional presence. It means pausing […]

I took a trip to Knoxville, TN to document Sarah & Andy’s engagement session.  They wanted to do their session where they will be getting married in 2026 and it was the best decision ever!  Not only did I get to meet and hang out with Sarah & Andy, but I also was able to […]

Greenville, you’ve been a beautiful backdrop—but lately, I’ve fallen hard for something else: private estate weddings. If you’re dreaming of tying the knot somewhere that’s more your world than a checklist, a family home‑turned‑wedding‑day‑stage is where the real magic happens. Why private estates feel so right Authentic comfort from beginning to end It’s your space. […]
