Holmes Christmas Portraits

All I have to say is that I love the Holme’s family.  They are one amazing little family, that are supper nice, welcoming and just a lot of fun to be around.  This is the second time this year that I got to take their photos (We did a session back in May when Thomas was just starting to walk and even though it was a hot day he was such a little trooper and we had so much fun), so going into this session I was just thinking that Thomas was going to love doing the picture thing again (especially since it was a lot cooler).  Let’s just say that Thomas was not a fan of being held or having his picture taken this time around with pictures, we did realize about half way through the shoot that he was a tad hungry and then a few days later that he was sick (so I felt bad that we had put him through a session with him not feeling well, but we did get some good photos).  Thank you so much Greg, Nikki and Thomas for letting me capture  your family pictures this year!!  Here are a few from the session. . .

Photography is in my blood and seeking truth is in my soul. Which is a deep way of saying, I’ve loved to take photos for a really long time, y’all. I’d love to share my story with you then listen to yours.

Palm Springs, California is one of those places you visit and you’ll never forget!! I loved my time there and really enjoyed my time with Sasha & Chloe for their session amongst the windmills!! We had so much fun and I’m so excited to share a handful of my favorite images from my session with […]

I was standing on a porch in Highlands last fall, watching the fog roll down over the mountains while a bride got her veil pinned in by her mom. Nobody was rushing. There was coffee going cold on a side table and somebody’s grandfather telling a story in the next room. And I remember thinking: […]
