I first photographed these two when we first moved to Spartanburg. Eli was an intern for Gary and when I was looking to start building my local senior portfolio Eli graciously said he’d hop in front of my camera and he brought his then girlfriend along for a few photos as well! These two were complete strangers to me before that session but from there came a friendship!! I photographed Brittany’s college senior photos and then a few months after that Eli asked if I could photograph their engagement. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to photograph the actual proposal because I was photographing a wedding on the day he had it planned but a few months after the proposal I had them in front of my camera for their engagement session and then their wedding day!!!

It has been such an honor to document Brittany & Eli over the last four years!! Gary & I are LOTS of years older than they are but gosh we love them and are so thankful for them and their friendships!! I am also super thankful for their love & support when it comes to my photography!! They have referred me more times than I can count (which is so fun because it’s meant they have been & will be in other weddings that I have photograph) and for that I am soooo sooo sooo thankful!!! I have written & re-written this paragraph because I really don’t have the adequate words when it comes to how thankful I am for these two!!! A few weekends ago I had them back in front of my camera for a just for fun fall/winter session!!! No reason AT ALL for the session … seriously just for fun!! It was originally supposed to be on Saturday but because it rained ALL day on that Saturday we moved the session to Sunday. I have a feeling Brittany was thinking the session was going to have to be moved again because it POURED all morning… but low and behold we had the most BEAUTIFUL Sunday afternoon. The ground was sopping wet but thankfully they were okay with that!!

Y’all having them back in front of my camera & getting to spend a little bit of my Sunday afternoon with these two gave me all the heart eyes!! Two of my favorite things about what I do is capturing love and also the time I get with my clients. It was such a joy to photograph these two now as husband and wife and I am soo excited to share a few of my favorite images from this session!!!

Brittany & Eli, thank y’all for your love and support and most importantly for your friendship!! Love you guys so much!!!
