Usually I write these posts on the eve of our anniversary, but this year I’ll be in Rome, GA attending the Pursuit Conference the week of our anniversary (for those of you that are like ohh my gosh she’s going to be gone over their anniversary… yep, I am and it was at the encouragement and with the support of Gary and I’m so excited to see what God is going to do in my life while I”m at the conference) so I sit here on this rainy Saturday morning with mounds of laundry around me, a to do list that is crazy long and I’m really not sure will get done before I head leave, and still needing to pack since I leave in less than 48 hours and am just in awe that we really have been married for 8 years. You would think (well wish) that time would slow down a little as we get older, but I’m finding that it just seems to get faster and faster and gosh I don’t know how another year slipped by. Another year that I get to call you my husband… another year to grow with you, explore with you, and just have fun with you. There’s not a lot of people that can say at 30 years old that they’ve spent more than half their lives with their best friend… but I can and for that I am soo thankful and blessed beyond measure. You are an amazing man that loves God, your family, works hard, and loves & supports like no other. There are so many days that I just think about how I don’t deserve you, but I am so glad I get you and that you love me no matter what. I love you Gary & can’t wait to see what this next year holds for us as husband & wife and as a family as we bring our newest little one into the world come March!!! Here’s to 8 years and a lifetime of years to come!!!! I love you and Happy 8th Anniversary!!
I don’t always blog our family photos… but I can’t thank Trinity of Treebird Photography enough for the beautiful images she snapped of our family on a COLD & WINDY day back in March when we were visiting Wilmington!!!! The ones of Gary and I crack me up because the minute Trinity started taking photos of just the two of us Kenzie decided she actually wanted to be in the photos :)…
